Vegetarian Persian Souffle-Koo Koo Sabzi

I really like this dish. I feel like I get my daily dose of vegetabels after eating this especially since I don't like vegetables. This is my personal recipie. I'm sure there are many other ways to make it
What you need:
Italian Parsley- 2 Bunch
Green Onions- 2 Bunch
Spinach-1 Bunch
Eggs- 6
Turmeric- 2 tsp
Salt- 1tsp
Peper- 1tsp
Oil-1/3 cup

Wash the vegetabels and put them in a food processor. Put the chopped vegetabels in a large bowl. Add the eggs and the spices. Beat the eggs and add to the mix. Mix everything together well. In a large non stick pan heat the oil and pour the mixture in. Keep on medium heat untill bottom is set. Cut into wedges and flip over each one. Add more oil if needed. For a fancier dish you can add walnuts or cranberries (barberries/Zereshk)also.Enjoy!

Zhu Zhu Pets

Jennifer, my boss, tells me that Target has a few Zhu Zhu pets and they are flying off the shelf. For those of you who don't know what a Zhu Zhu pet is (and I didn't know until a few weeks ago), it's a little stuffed hamster that has recently become popular and a hot commodity. So I go down to Target and sure enough they only have a few left and there is a limit, four to a costumer. When I got home I forgot to hide them. I was planing to give them as Norooz presents. Sheerin spotted them in the back seat this morning and says "Oh my God Zhu Zhu pets! Just like the commercial!!!" I told them this is suppose to be a surprise for the Eid. Then she says I knew those presents were not from Santa or Amoo Norooz!

Can't Wait till Christmas?!

So this morning, on the way to school, Yasmin tells me from her car seat, "I can't wait till Christmas!" I said, "Why?" She says because Santa is coming. I remind her that we don't celebrate Christmas. She says, very matter of fact, "Well I do! I celebrate Christmas." Of course I am speechless. I can't be a scrooge!!

My first Blog!

This is my first blog! It reminds me of when I started my first diary in 8th grade (which I still have!) I thought I can post updates about the kids and other stuff going on. Facebook is great but alot of people don't really care what your kid is doing or what you are doing for that matter. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get a chance.
